Year 6 trip to Eaton Park

On Friday the pupils in Year 6 went on a trip to Eaton Park to play pitch and putt and enjoy some free time at the park.  The trip was organised by the Year 6 teachers as a reward for the pupils after their SATs tests.

Year 2 trip to Norwich Cathedral

Mr Akerman's class visit Easton and Otley College

Children in Mr Akerman's class visited Easton and Otley College last week.  They saw the spring lambs, piglets and highland cattle.  They also had the opportunity to grind flour from wheat and make oil from rapeseed oil.

Year 1 Farm Trip

Year 1 visited Easton farm as part of their English animal topic. They saw many different farm animals, including cows, pigs, chickens and sheep. They also had a chance to do hands-on activities, where they made butter from cream, made flour from wheat and crushed oil seed rape to get oil.

Nursery Transport Trip

Just before the half term holiday the children in our nursery went on a trip to the Norfolk Broads to support the learning they have been doing on the topic of transport.  The children were treated to a trip on the Broads Tours passenger boat the Belle of the Broads around Wroxham Broad.

Fire Service visit to Reception Classes

Reception enjoyed a visit from the fire fighters. We learnt what fire fighters do, how to stop, drop and roll if we are on fire.  We also looked round the fire engine and practised squirting a hose.

Cross Country Competition

On Wednesday 7th November, 17 children from Mile Cross Primary took part in the Norwich East SSP Cross Country event.
