The Learning and Cognition SRB Outreach Service is commissioned by Norfolk Local Authority to facilitate mainstream primary schools to better meet the needs of learners with Learning and Cognition needs working at SEN Support by upskilling staff. I work in partnership with the lead teachers and staff in our Learning and Cognition SRBs across the county as well as our assigned Educational Psychologist, Dr Helen Holderness from CEPP, colleagues at Dyslexia Outreach Service and Specialist Partner, the Parkside school. I am based here at Mile Cross Primary where I am delighted to be an active part of our outstanding school community.
Drawing from years of experience working with learners of all ages in both mainstream and specialist settings, I can provide meaningful advice around strategies and interventions that have worked in practice as well as demonstrating ways of implementing the Provision Expected at SEN Support for learners with Learning and Cognition needs.
Please see flyer below for further details of the service I offer, and the process for making a referral. You can also find toolkits to support the implementation of specific interventions below including brief information about each intervention, a video of the intervention in action and some resources to support delivery in your school.
