On Friday the pupils in Year 6 went on a trip to Eaton Park to play pitch and putt and enjoy some free time at the park. The trip was organised by the Year 6 teachers as a reward for the pupils after their SATs tests.
Last week the pupils in Year 6 visited the Gressenhall Rural Life Museum, where they had the opportunity to spend the day as Victorian children and learn what it would have been like to live in Victorian times. They took part in a range of activities including Victorian school lessons, life in the workhouse, life for the rich and traditional farm work.
Many of the children and staff dressed up in Victorian costume for the day. You can see some of the photos below:
Reception enjoyed a visit from the fire fighters. We learnt what fire fighters do, how to stop, drop and roll if we are on fire. We also looked round the fire engine and practised squirting a hose.
